BGSBU has, of late, laid greater emphasis on industrial consultancy as the essential attribute of research and development by liaising with industry and government organizations, providing IPR support and internal research grants to the faculty.

Let me acknowledge that due to consistent hard work of the faculty and the reasonably good performance of the students, SoET has become the first and foremost choice of the aspiring engineers of Jammu and Kashmir.
