Programme Specific Outcome (PSO) BA (Hons) Arabic

PSO1:The three years programme focuses on teaching the students Arabic, Urdu, Islamic Studies, General English and Environmental Sciences subjects.

PSO2:Making them understand simple Arabic prose and poetry, comprising simple sentences and improve their communicative skills in Arabic and enabling them to use Arabic in day to day life.

PSO3:Providing them with basic and necessary information about the origin and development of Urdu language in addition to study of fine pieces of Urdu prose and poetry.

PSO4:Providing them with basic and necessary information about the Islamic Studies and making them sensitive towards their environment and surroundings. 

Programme Specific Outcome of MA Arabic

PSO 1: Enhance The two years prgoramme offers a whole range of subjects including classical and modern Arabic prose and poetry, History of Arabic literature, Translation, Applied Arabic Grammar, Rhetoric and Linguistics.

PSO 2: The programme focuses upon enhancing the artistic sense, scientific and critical thoughts and sound critical consciousness.

PSO 3: Making them good in Arabic language and literature and proficient in expressing themselves in both written as well as spoken language.

PSO 4: Making them analyze literature whether in poetry or prose and produce high quality research works in different genre.

PSO 5: To prepare scientific research according to the research methodology.

Programme Specific Outcome of M.Phil Arabic

PSO 1: Recognizes the history and stage of Arabic Literature and their distinctive formal and stylistic phase.

PSO 2: Shares issues in written and oral examination and criticism related to Arabic language and literature.

PSO 3: Enables students to critically examine and analyze a wide range of texts in Arabic literature within various social, cultural, political and philosophical contexts.

PSO 4: Uses Arabic language as an academic language in scientific research.

Programme Specific Outcome of Ph.D Arabic

PSO 1: Recognizes the history and stage of Arabic Literature and their distinctive formal and stylistic phase.

PSO 2: Enables students to critically examine and analyze a wide range of texts in Arabic literature within various social, cultural, political and philosophical contexts.

PSO 3: Enhances the analytical, critical and research skills in Arabic language and literature studies and promotes the original and high quality research.

PSO 4: Encourages academic excellence in the field of higher education within the university, and related fields of teaching, research and other specialized activities.
