BCA (Hons.)
BCA (Hons.) is a four-year, full-time residential programme. The degree is awarded to students who successfully complete the prescribed theory and laboratory courses, as well as undertake project work or internships in public or private sector organizations. This hands-on experience provides practical exposure and enhances their prospects for suitable employment.
The programme offers students the flexibility to choose from a range of Major, Minor, Multi-disciplinary, Ability enhancement, Skill enhancement, Value added and Discipline specific elective courses across all semesters. The course provides a sound practical skill that is required by leading software industries.
This programme is streamlined in a way to meet the demand for qualified experts in the field of Computer Sciences. This programme is slanted more towards Application Development and has more accentuation on the most recent programming dialects and instruments to grow better and quicker applications. The main objective of this programme is to eliminate any types of barriers among industry and academia.
The BCA (Hons.) programme provides greater clarity with well-defined entry and exit options. It incorporates the essence of NEP-2020 at the undergraduate level, offering flexibility for students to pursue an MCA. The BCA (Hons.) shall have the following multiple entry and exit options.

Note: At the end of the four years in BCA (Hons.), the student shall be allowed to take lateral entry in MCA (2nd / final-year) for the completion of MCA Programme. (As per the AICTE Norms)

Eligibility for Admission
10+2 in any discipline.
Candidates appearing in the Higher Secondary Part-II (12th) Examination and those whose result of the same is awaited can also apply provisionally.
Procedure for Admission
Admission will be based on the merit of students in the qualifying examinations.
