Programme Outcome
The under graduate and post graduate degree Programmes in Education aims to prepare socially responsible and responsive teacher educators who are ready to face all challenges accompanying globalization. The School supports this endeavor through provision of state of art infrastructure and competent –qualified faculty.
PROGRAMMES OUTCOME (PO) OF SCHOOL OF EDUCATION.
The programmes has been designed keeping in view of the following objectives.
PO1: Disciplinary and Multidisciplinary Knowledge
Graduates will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of foundational and advanced concepts in education, drawing connections with allied disciplines such as psychology, sociology, philosophy, and technology, in alignment with NEP 2020’s emphasis on multidisciplinary learning.
PO2: Critical Thinking and Reflective Practice
Learners will be able to critically evaluate educational theories, practices, and policies and reflect on their own teaching-learning experiences to improve professional practice and support innovation in education.
PO3: Research and Inquiry Orientation
Students will acquire the competence to design and conduct educational research using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods approaches, contributing to the development of evidence-based educational practices and policies.
PO4: Values, Ethics, and Professionalism:
Graduates will internalize and promote ethical values, democratic principles, inclusivity, and respect for diversity in educational contexts, in tune with the constitutional vision and NEP 2020 guidelines.
PO5: Inclusivity and Equity in Education
Learners will develop the skills and sensitivity to create inclusive learning environments that accommodate diverse learners, including those from marginalized, differently-abled, and socio-economically disadvantaged groups.
PO6: Digital and Technological Competence
Graduates will effectively utilize ICT tools, digital platforms, and emerging technologies in teaching, learning, assessment, and research, promoting digital fluency as envisioned in NEP 2020.
PO7: Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Students will develop strong communication skills for academic writing, teaching, advocacy, and collaboration with educational stakeholders across various levels.
PO8: Curriculum, Pedagogy, and Policy Literacy
Graduates will critically examine and contribute to the design, evaluation, and implementation of curricula, pedagogical approaches, and educational policies relevant to contemporary and future educational challenges.
PO9: Lifelong Learning and Career Competence
Learners will be prepared for lifelong learning and professional development, equipped with transferable skills for diverse roles such as educators, researchers, policymakers, administrators, and counsellors.
PO10: Sustainability and Global Citizenship:
Graduates will develop an informed worldview and commitment to sustainable development, peace, and responsible global citizenship through education, as emphasized in NEP 2020.
